"The best dentistry
is no dentistry."

A different kind of dentist.

I believe oral health is one of the most underestimated pillars of whole-body wellness — and one of the most misunderstood.

After completing my BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of British Columbia, I went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University. With over seven years in practice, my approach has always been the same: treat the whole person, not just the tooth.

The conventional model treats teeth like broken objects to be drilled, filled, and crowned. I practise differently. My philosophy is rooted in prevention — understanding why disease starts, and stopping it before intervention becomes necessary. The best dentistry, I believe, is no dentistry at all. And when restoration becomes necessary, my approach is to emulate nature — repairing teeth with biocompatible materials, preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible, and intervening only to the extent that health demands.

I have a deep interest in the oral-systemic connection — the way suboptimal sleep, poor nutrition, mouth breathing, and gut dysbiosis can manifest in the mouth as decay, gum disease, TMJ disorders, and more. Remineralisation, airway health, and the oral microbiome are not just emerging trends — they are the future of dentistry, and I strive to bring them into every clinical conversation.
